For visitors at Wesley Medical Center

Read about our visitor policies and guidelines to make your time at our facilities as safe and comfortable as possible.

As of 5:00am Wednesday, March 23, 2022, Wesley Healthcare has lifted all visitor restrictions at Wesley Medical Center, Wesley Woodlawn Hospital, Wesley West ER and Wesley Derby ER.

Exceptions to this include the following:

  • All patients, visitors, physicians and staff MUST wear a mask at all times inside the facility, per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC).
  • No children under the age of 12 will be allowed; however, exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
  • Visitors with cold/flu symptoms or a pending COVID-19 test are asked not to enter the facility.
    • Visiting hours are from 6:00am to 8:00pm daily.

At Wesley Medical Center, the guest services department’s goal is to make your stay at our hospitals as comfortable as possible. Our friendly staff is always available to discuss any questions, concerns or complaints. We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay more pleasant.

Wireless service

Wesley Healthcare offers high-speed internet service throughout its facilities, including the Wesley Birth Care Suites, West ER & Diagnostic Center and our WesleyCare Clinics. Called “Guest Access,” the wireless connection is available to patients, families and guests for all their Internet-accessible devices.

CaringBridge websites

CaringBridge offers free personalized websites enabling people to stay in touch with family and friends during a health crisis, treatment and recovery. The goal of the service is to ease the burden of keeping friends and family updated, while also providing a way for them to send their love, support and encouragement. Get more information.

Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions described on this webpage. Those circumstances include religious visitation as well as a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patient's treatment. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.
